A year has passed since we had to learn to live without you, Jacques. And this year has been unlike any that came before.
(1/3) A selection of images from the Jacques Christian Soulié Memorial Evening, held on 25 July 2026 at his residence in Kandy.
We were honoured by the presence of the Venerable Rathanasiri Thero of the Alapalawala temple; His Excellency Monsieur Rémi Lambert, Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka and the Maldives; Chandra Wickramasinghe, founder of Connaissance de Ceylan and Thema Collection; and Jacques’s long-standing friends and colleagues from the Alliance française network and the universities.
